 The Board intends to prepare a proposal for an update of the ESPO Bylaws. Council and General Assembly have to decide on these proposals at their subsequent meetings during the Paris Congress.
Among others the main proposition is to equalize the status of Congresses and Conferences. Experience has taught us that the conferences are not limited to certain subjects any more but cover the whole field of pediatric ORL and attract as many participants as the International Congresses.
According to the Bylaws the Council will receive the proposals 4 months before the Council meeting will take place, i.e. before 19 February 2006.
I would like to remind you that only ESPO members who have paid their dues have the right to give their vote at the General Assembly meeting.

The 10th Congress will be hosted in Pamplona SPAIN 5th - 8th June 2010 Hosted by Prof Manuel Manrique and Javier Cervera Escario (President-Elect)
The 8th International Conference of the European Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology took place between 8-11th June in Budapest.
