The Palais des Congrès de Paris was a superb venue for the latest meeting of ESPO. Held 18 - 21 June.[/b] It attracted over 800 delegates from 62 countries. The programme was chaired by Prof Noël Garabédian with help from Co-chairman Jean-Michel Triglia and Patrick Froehlich. The Scientific committee was direct by Françoise Denoyelle.

The format was of multi-sessions allowed for all areas of Paediatrics to be explored and discussed. Several key note lectures were given to update the audience in Genetics, Endoscopic and innovative management of the airway, Day care surgery and management of Head and Neck tumours.
Trainees were well represented with numerous free paper sessions and poster presentations.
At the meeting John Graham handed over to Noel Garabédian as the new president of ESPO for the next 4 years. Great appreciation was given also to Prof. Pekka Karma as outgoing immediate past President. .

The 10th Congress will be hosted in Pamplona SPAIN 5th - 8th June 2010 Hosted by Prof Manuel Manrique and Javier Cervera Escario (President-Elect)
The 8th International Conference of the European Society of Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology took place between 8-11th June in Budapest.
